Theatre Faculty

Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is hiring a Theatre Residential Faculty. This position will teach courses each academic year in areas such as scenic design, technical theatre, acting, directing, and related areas aligned with the candidate's expertise; facilitate student productions and work with students outside of the classroom on instructional activities, projects, and productions; play a key role in developing, growing and providing leadership within the theatre and production program. This position will begin in August 2026.

• Teach a variety of in‑person and hybrid theatre and production classes to majors and non‑majors, such as scenic design, technical theatre, makeup, safety, acting, directing, and related areas aligned with the candidate's expertise.
• Engage students with varied backgrounds and learning needs through student‑centered teaching methods that promote critical thinking.
