Opportunity Description

**A Snapshot of Your Day**

As a Thermal Fluid Engineer, you’ll use advanced fluid dynamics and heat transfer analysis to shape the performance and reliability of large gas turbines. You’ll design and analyze internal cooling air systems, secondary air systems, and component clearances using advanced simulation tools, while collaborating with a global engineering team on both new product development and service initiatives. Your work will directly influence turbine efficiency, durability, and continuous improvement across the fleet.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**

+ 60% Thermal-Fluid System Modeling & Simulation
+ Develop and maintain complex models to describe the cooling air supply for hot gas-path components in gas turbines.
+ Simulate transient heating and thermal expansion of the entire turbine to determine optimal assembly gaps and clearances.
+ Utilize a combination of in-house and commercial simulation software to perform fluid dynamics and heat...
