Job Description

The primary role of this position is to serve as a Tier 1 Audio-Visual Technician for Classroom Audio Visual Services at the Innovation Campus in Alexandria, Virginia. Reporting to the DC Area Audiovisual Manager and the Director of Classroom AV Services under the University Registrar, this person is responsible for providing support in the form of working with end users, AV system testing, AV system preventative maintenance, and minor AV system repair in spaces under the purview of Classroom Audio Visual Services including general assignment classrooms, departmental spaces, conference rooms, and boardrooms. The person in this position plays a major customer service role for the department as they will be responsible for training end users, meeting with end users in times of need, and troubleshooting issues reported by end users.
