Position Overview

Nipissing University is pleased to invite applications for a Tenure-Track, Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Social Epidemiology and Health Inequality . The Canada Research Chairs Program (CRCP) is part of a national strategy to support academic research and training excellence in postsecondary institutions. Tier 2 Chairs are intended for exceptional emerging researchers acknowledged by their peers as having the potential to establish and lead an internationally recognised research program in their field, and who are within 10 years of receiving their PhD. Candidates must be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor at Nipissing University, including an earned PhD or terminal degree, as required by the institution. Tier 2 CRC positions are tenable for five years and can be renewed once. The appointment will be conditional upon the CRC Program’s approval of the submitted nomination for a Tier 2 CRC.
