Opportunity Description
Pertemps are recruiting for a skilled TIG Welder to join our client who are a leading fabrication and engineering company.
The person for the role will perform high-precision TIG welding on stainless steel and exotic alloys (like Inconel and Titanium).
Material thickness ½ mm to 1.2mm
The weld must look clean and pass strict quality inspections.
Pay rate initially £18.54 rising to £19.15 per hour.
Days shift – 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday – Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm

Key Responsibilities
- Precision Welding: High-quality TIG welding on stainless steel and exotic metals.
- Purging: Set up back-purging to ensure clean welds.
- Blueprint Reading: Read engineering drawings and weld symbols.
- Metal Prep: Clean, cut, and fit metal parts before welding.
- Quality Check: Inspect welds for defects like cracks or gaps.
