Education

  • Engineering Degree or Diploma or Tool & Die Maker who moved into design role
  • 3 years+ relevant manufacturing sector experience
  • Experience with Solid Works and tool design
  • Able to generate BOM
  • Attention to detail and ability to keep proper documentation of work completed
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Able to interact with Toolroom and technical team members
  • Willing and able to work assigned shift

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Design tools or components for tools and support the toolroom as required using Solid Works
  • Review and create designs based on customer specs
  • Provide BOM for component ordering
  • Host design reviews, document outcomes and update designs
  • Participate in design improvement meetings
  • Maintain accurate engineering files
  • Assist in training other employees as needed
  • Attend company training as required
