As a Job Developer at YES in Toronto, you will empower youth through strategic employment initiatives. Collaborate with employers to create meaningful job placements.
In this role, you’ll report to the Manager and provide essential job matching services for clients. Your focus will be building employer relationships and supporting clients with barriers to employment. With your strong communication skills and a background in job development, you will facilitate success for youth in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market YES services to the business community
• Organize and execute job fairs and sessions
• Develop and manage a comprehensive job bank
• Negotiate contracts and stipends for training placements
• Provide workshops on job-readiness and skills
Requirements:
• University degree and three years’ job development experience
• Proven experience in achieving targets
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
