Trades Generalist

Duties Description The Trades Generalist will be responsible for providing and completing technical and trade-specific maintenance, construction, and restoration services for DEC’s infrastructure and facilities. Must have a general knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades. Must be able to perform the specified job duties and skills according to work orders or verbal instructions by inspecting the work site to determine materials, equipment, tool requirements, and methods to be used; developing a plan or layout for the project or following a blueprint or schematic; assembling, fabricating, or building, and installing materials, equipment, or fixtures as required by the scope of work. May need to operate various types of equipment and possess a good working knowledge of all equipment being operated.
