Wapiti Gravel Suppliers, one of the largest paving contractors in Western Canada, is hiring Flagpersons. This role involves directing traffic, setting up and maintaining signage, and ensuring the safety of workers and the public. Candidates should be physically fit and able to handle the demands of an outdoor work environment, including inclement weather.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review site-specific instructions to direct traffic
• Set up and maintain traffic control signage
• Use radios to communicate with team members
• Monitor the work environment for safety hazards
• Assist trucks in accessing work sites and manage haul tickets
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Class 5 Driver’s Licence preferred
