Traffic Management Operative

We are looking for a Traffic Management Operative to support the safe movement of commuters through temporary roadworks.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment and systems are fit for use and fully operational
• Record any damage
• Maintain battery banks
• Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
• Manage checklists
• Complete timesheets and risk assessments
• Ensure vehicles, tools and other equipment are maintained and ready to use
• Assist with maintaining a safe, tidy and clean yard

Qualifications

A full and valid UK driving licence is required. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and a can do attitude. Experience in a similar role or in a safety‑critical environment is important. Tickets such as Lantra, TTMBC and Streetworks are not essential as full training will be provided.
