Trainee, Energy Management System Application [GRIT@GOV]

• The trainee will assist in a solar forecasting project to analyse the accuracy of the half‑hourly solar forecast by comparing daily profiles, reporting data abnormalities, and working on energy storage test bedding.
• The trainee will help automate various processes related to day‑to‑day operations and BAU work to increase work efficiency.

• Streamline information extraction and data analysis processes from Operational Technology (OT) systems.
• Automate the checking of information and data submitted by licensees for database construction and display.
• Ingest NWP and satellite images from meteorological weather stations, writing code to convert files into the correct format for the solar forecasting model and thereby improving forecast accuracy.

Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Computing.
