Role Overview

Permanent full‑time trainee vascular sonographer position at Christchurch Health Campus. The role is part of the vascular ultrasound service, with supportive training and progressive responsibility for performing high‑quality vascular ultrasound examinations.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform vascular ultrasound examinations under supervision.
• Progressively develop clinical decision‑making and critical‑thinking skills.
• Build reporting capability and gain increasing autonomy over time.
• Collaborate with experienced sonographers, vascular surgeons, nurses, and radiologists.
• Contribute to patient care within a collegial, multidisciplinary environment.
• Gain exposure to a broad range of general ultrasound clinical practice.
