The Staffordshire Civil Contingencies Unit (CCU), based at Stafford Fire Station supports organisations across Staffordshire in preparing for, and responding to Emergencies as defined under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004. In addition, we deliver a range of training and exercise functions, all of which are focussed upon promoting skills and knowledge within emergency response setting.

This is a unique opportunity for senior managers / executives from key public sector agencies to support our strategic exercise programme. In particular, we are interested in recruiting from Police, Ambulance, Local Authority, Environment Agency and NHS sectors to form an exercise team.
