Training Instructor

Summary This position serves as a Training Instructor within Environmental Management Service (EMS). The incumbent is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to support staff performance, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities This is a developmental position with a full performance level of GS-09. The incumbent will perform developmental assignments designed to provide the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience necessary to successfully perform the full range of Training Instructor duties at the GS-09 level. At the GS-07 level, duties are performed under closer supervision with increasing independence as experience is gained. Upon meeting regulatory requirements and demonstrating satisfactory performance, the incumbent may be promoted non-competitively to the GS-09 full performance level.
