Our client, a leading international consulting engineering firm is seeking a Transmission and Distribution Design Engineer (Overhead Lines) to join their Energy team in providing Structural design for powerlines and substations as a consultant.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities include: Design of substation equipment and line termination gantry structures & Cable Sealing Ends. Design powerlines with PLS-CADD and powerline towers with PLS-Tower. The role will include Sag & tension calculations; Catenary Support System design; Line Profiling; Gantry analysis; Tower setting levels; Environmental loads; Insulator set design; Overhead Line Wire Clearance; Route plans; Material Quantification - Short Circuit Analysis. Involved with the Design of powerline structural foundations, including piled, pad, and rock-anchor foundations.
