The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimising transportation routes, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and internal departments.
Key Tasks:
* Ensure the daily plan runs smoothly
* Create suitable and effective load plans
* Check resource availability for the shift - reviewing the manning levels on a daily basis
* Managing drivers’ hours in relation to customer requirements and volume demand
* Trailer type utilisation
* Reduce Empty Legs
* Liaising with drivers both face to face and phone
* Production of reports
* Accurate data entry
