Transportation Safety and Compliance Advisor

Job Description

As a Transportation Safety and Compliance Advisor, you will be responsible for training and ensuring compliance with regulations, laws and company policies for transport managers and in‑house drivers in the Greater Montreal area, the Ottawa region and Abitibi. The position starts early in the morning, typically between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trainer and advisor in road safety and regulatory compliance.
• Advise drivers on best practices in terms of road safety and compliance.
• Manage follow‑ups with transport managers regarding logbooks and safety rounds to ensure compliance with road regulations.
• Collaborate with transport and fleet maintenance managers to monitor the PEP and transport equipment compliance.
• Visit various sites to inspect the quality and conformity of the work performed by our drivers.
