Summary Transportation Security Officers are responsible for providing security and protection of travelers across all transportation sectors in a courteous and professional manner. Their duties may also extend to securing high-profile events, important figures and/or anything that includes or impacts our transportation systems. Responsibilities Salary Information: The salary range for Lihue, HI (LIH - Lihue Airport) is $61,920 to $77,366 or $29.67 to $37.07 per hour and includes locality pay of 22.21% and COLA pay of 8.64%, and a retention incentive of 20% of adjusted pay that is unique to this duty location. The continuation of the incentive portion of this hourly rate is contingent upon annual approval and funding.
