Trauma Medical Director

**Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Pflugerville** is seeking a **Trauma Surgery Medical Director** to join the Department of Surgery at our hospital in **Pflugerville, TX** . We are expanding our Trauma Surgery service and seeking a visionary physician leader to guide and advance the delivery of trauma care as we work toward achieving Level III Trauma Designation.

Position Information:

+ Responsibilities will include
+ o Clinical Leadership
+ Provide leadership in the clinical management of trauma services
+ Evaluate all trauma and emergency general surgery consults
+ Round on patients in the STICU and Trauma Acute Care Surgery services
+ Provide OR coverage for trauma, emergency general surgery, and elective general surgery
+ Participate in Q3 Trauma/Acute Care Surgery call (with protected time)
+ Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, ACS standards, and institutional protocols
