Travel Nurse (RN) ER (Emergency Room)

Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ER
Shift : Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, Every 3rd weekend
Length : 13 weeks
Holiday Expectations: Assigned holidays based on needs. There is a holiday rotation; will not be required to work all holidays in contract
Requirements:

• KY License
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience, any trauma level
• Skills required: IV starts, inserting foleys and NG tubes, neuro assessment (NIHSS), triage, codes, initiating/titrating pressors/cardiac drips/sedation/insulin, critical patients, hyper/hypothermia care, assisting with bedside procedurals, moderate sedation for bedside procedures (versed/fentanyl/ketamine)
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS

• Beds: 31 Emergency beds
• Average patients/day? 78 on average
• RN: 1:4-5
• EMR: Cerner
