• Number of Beds: 630 has 34 beds/ 633 has 25
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 to 1:5 on days, 1:5 to 1:6 on nights
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 3 techs when full on 630 and 2 techs when full on 633
• Type of equipment: bipaps, high flow o2, vapotherm, alaris pumps, cardiac drips, heparin drips, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis. Wound vacs in conjunction with wound care
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: every other weekend requirement for contract, 3 12 hour shifts a week
• Floating policy: may have to float in between PCU units or float to med-surg floors
• Patient Experience requirements: hourly rounding on days, every 2 hour rounding on nights, AIDET and keeping up with communication boards on 7th floor. Dept 633 has tv communication boards. ...
