About the role
The Treasure Registrar plays a key role in supporting the administration of finds reported under the Treasure Act 1996. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will focus on the early stages of the Treasure process, ensuring cases are accurately recorded, tracked, and progressed efficiently.
This is a varied position that combines detailed administrative work with stakeholder engagement across the heritage sector. You will handle a high volume of cases (approximately 1,500–1,600 per year), helping to ensure the smooth running of processes that can involve multiple parties and up to 30 stages per case.
