Tree Officer

We are looking for a positive individual with drive and enthusiasm to join our Parks and Open Spaces team at Bedford Borough Council. Our team is dynamic, high‑performing and fast‑paced, playing a significant role in delivering an attractive and diverse environment throughout Bedford Borough.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tree stock, addressing customer inquiries and managing work with contractors to create and maintain a suitable green environment.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance and quality of tree care.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to inspect and manage tree stock using the LOB system and mobile technology.
• Full, clean, and current driving licence.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, well‑organised with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing service excellence.
