Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle highly complex workers' compensation cases under the state administrative process (trial level).Take depositions, analyze testimony, prepare and file related reports.Represent the Company in appearances at hearings and conferences; prepare and file related reports.Research and prepare highly complex pleadings for cases under the, state administrative process (trial level).Provide advice, training, and recommendations on case handling strategies and tactics to representatives of the Claims department.Perform legal research at all levels, from advising clients through the appellate procedures.
