Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy vehicles safely while holding a valid Class 4 driving license.Transport chemical products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.Load and unload vehicles, ensuring that all cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety protocols.Comply with all transportation laws and maintain a clean driving record.Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance as needed.Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, taking into account any special handling requirements for hazardous materials.Report accidents or violations as required by company policy and transportation regulations.Complete and maintain accurate documentation and logs, such as cargo records, delivery notes, and mileage logs.Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
