This is a middle‑grade post providing medical cover to the 26‑beded stroke unit at the Royal London Hospital. These comprise 12 hyperacute (HASU) beds serving the inner north east sector of London (one of the 8 London HASUs) plus 14 acute stroke unit (ASU) beds for Tower Hamlets.
