**Steam Turbine Mechanic / Rotating Equipment Technician**
Pay: _$30-33 Per Hr. DOE_
**Position Summary**
The Steam Turbine Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and installation of steam turbines and related rotating equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with turbines, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, and other industrial rotating machinery. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support safe and efficient plant operations.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of steam turbines and associated rotating equipment.
+ Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble turbines, pumps, compressors, blowers, gearboxes, and motors.
+ Conduct precision measurements using micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and laser alignment equipment.
