Tutor (casual) - ESOL

Salary: £24.30 - £27.33 per hour, depending on grade. Subject to increase for 24/25 pay year

Grade TUTLEC 1 – 4 depending on qualifications and experience.

Hours Per Week are variable and subject to demand (as and when required) – term time only. Evening availability in addition to daytime availability is required. 

Thurrock Adult Community College is the local authority’s provider of adult education for Thurrock. Our main base is in the Old Court House in Grays, but we deliver courses across the borough. We are particularly seeking tutors who have evening availability as well as being able to work during daytime hours.

You will be responsible for planning courses and lessons, creating resources, teaching lessons and marking learners work and giving developmental feedback.

Experience of teaching adults is required.
