Opportunity Description
Our Transect Walkers help us to understand butterflies in their local area and, by extension, across the UK. They inspire people to better understand the butterflies that they see.
Working in collaboration with Kent Wildlife Trust we are recruiting for Transect Surveyors to walk several butterfly transects on nature reserves across Kent. These are:
- Conningbrook Lakes Country Park (near Ashford)
- Hothfield Common (near Ashford)
- Thornden Wood (near Canterbury)
- Coombe Down (near Dover)
- Gorse Hill (near Dover)
- Hawkshill Common (near Dover)
- Lesnes Abbey (near Erith)
- Oare Marshes (near Faversham)
- The Gill (near Goudhurst)
- Furnace Farm (near Lamberhurst)
- Hoathly Farm (near Lamberhurst)
- Brenchley Wood (near Matfield)
- Nashenden Down (near Rochester)
- Pegwell Bay Country Park (near Ramsgate)
- Heather Corrie Vale (near Sevenoaks)
