Ultrasonographer

The Ultrasonographer provides patient care and technical skills in the operation of ultrasound equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Perform ultrasound examinations which include operation of real-time and portable equipment as well as multiple imaging modalities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are as follows: although this is not an all inclusive list and additional duties may be added as necessary to meet the needs of the organization. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. Prepares patient for ultrasound procedures by accurately assessing patients needs and providing patient education. Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
