Underwriting Operations Manager – Corporate Loans

We’re looking for an Underwriting Operations Manager who will lead the end-to-end credit assessment and approval process for corporate and commercial lending. If you enjoy balancing risk, operational efficiency, and business growth, this role is for you.

What You Will Do

• Lead underwriting for corporate loan applications, renewals, and amendments within your authority.
• Ensure credit decisions follow internal policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and develop a team of underwriters; provide guidance on complex credit cases.
• Work closely with Business Units, Credit Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Collections on deal structuring and exception handling.
• Monitor portfolio quality, turnaround time, and process performance; drive improvements in systems and workflows.
• Support the Credit Operations Head in achieving underwriting and portfolio objectives.
