Unit Director - Cardiac Processing Unit (Harrisburg)

Position Detail:

+ Full-time, 40 hours per week, salaried position
+ Work location: Harrisburg Hospital
+ Work schedule:
+ Monday - Friday, normal business hours with flexibility
+ No weekends or holidays expected

The CPU is a pre and post prep recovery area supporting Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Neuro intervention. These patients arrive for their procedure and return to recover for discharge or prep for admission. There are 34 beds in this area, 6 of these beds are used for overnight stay for those patients that have procedure and could go home the next day.

Purpose:
The Unit Director maintains 24-hour accountability for leading and managing their assigned area in order to ensure an outstanding experience for patients and employees by continuously improving the quality of patient care, creating a healthy workplace for staff, and overseeing clinical, and administrative/business functions.
