Our Client, a Private Hospital Group in Richards Bay, Kwa Zulu Natal , has a vacancy for a Unit Manager - Theatre to manage the Theatre Department. Duties & Responsibilities Be operational as well as manage the administrative duties. Manage the Theatre Department. Liaise and communicate with Surgeons. Management of staff. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures at all times. Manage staff according to the Basic Conditions of Employment and the Disciplinary Code, staff planning and Recruitment and Selection of staff. Manage the day-to-day problem solving. Stock and equipment management including ordering of stock and equipment. Accurate billing of stock utilised. Training and development of Theatre staff. After hours cover as per a roster. Maintain infection control strategies and procedures of the hospital. Maintain health and safety principles. Maintain and apply the required discipline.
