Universal Worker

**Overview**

Perform any combination of duties to maintain resident’s health and well-being by assisting them with daily living activities such as grooming, eating, dressing, and bathing. Also maintain cleanliness of resident rooms/units and common areas including kitchen and laundry. Assist food service department including the preparation, service and clean-up of food service to residents, visitors, and staff.

**Responsibilities**

1. Assist, guide, or direct resident with daily life activities including:personal grooming/hygiene, dressing/undressing, toileting, assisting with urine and bowel incontinence (and/or emptying drainage units), range of motion activities and exercises (ambulating, positioning, lifting) to increase quality of living following established procedures
