Upholstery Lead

Upholstery Lead – GAC Appleton First Shift (Monday – Thursday, 4‐10). Experience with leather work, gluing, sewing, patterning, and sanding is required. Knowledge of and proper usage methods of most hand tools, table saw, planer, jointer, bandsaw, router, and cordless power tools is preferred. Mechanical background, mechanic (automotive, small engine, powersports, diesel), welding, woodworking, cabinet building, and/or finish carpentry experience is preferred but not required. Must possess a strong willingness to learn and work within a team environment. High School Diploma or GED required. 5 years experience in upholstery, including 2 years aircraft upholstery experience. Advanced knowledge of upholstery and sewing processes and products and/or advanced carpet knowledge including installing custom carpets.
