Utilities Co-ordinator

Carmichael are seeking a permanent Utilities Co-ordinator to join the teams based in Buckinghamshire

In this role you will be responsible for the approval of ‘Permit to works and protection of utility assets within a sector of the works on the HS2 project. You will review and approve all plans to break ground and ensure works are being planned in accordance with the ‘Breaking Ground Activities and Utility Detection Standard’. You will support the site teams in achieving a fully compliant and safe delivery of all works in the utilities sphere while striving for best practice in all matters related to utilities - including ensuring compliance with Underground and Overhead Services guidelines. 

Part of this role is to provide site engineering duties within a geographical area of the Section. Establish the level and survey control for the works, liaising with the Survey team and set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are made on a regular basis....
