Opportunity Description

Position: Vehicle and Plant Fitter

Pay Rate: £15.77 per hour


Hours: Part time (15 hours), 8am to 4pm 2 days per week


Duration: up to 4th of October 2026 (possibility of extension)


Start Date: ASAP


Location: DfI Northbrook Depot, Coleraine

Job Duties:

  • The service, maintenance and repair of vehicles, plant and equipment.

  • To include minor welding/fabrication, minor electrical repair and operation of stand-alone vehicle/plant diagnostic systems;

  • Completion of details on job card and service checklist as required;

  • Recording of parts and materials used from stock as per procedures;

    Keep work area and general workshop area clean and tidy to ensure that Health and Safety standards are adhered to;

  • Ensure that tools and equipment are maintained and used or operated in the correct manner in accordance with Health and Safety regula...
