Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Experience in livestock or farm animal practice is preferred.
• Knowledge of herd health management and disease prevention.
• Willingness to work in farm environments and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct routine health checks and medical examinations of farm animals (e.g., cattle, swine).
• Diagnose diseases, injuries, and health conditions and provide appropriate treatment.
• Administer vaccinations, medications, and other preventive treatments.
• Develop and implement herd/flock health management programs.
• Monitor animal nutrition, reproduction, and overall welfare.
• Provide emergency veterinary care when necessary.
• Perform surgical procedures when required (e.g., minor surgeries, castration, wound treatment).
