Opportunity Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts proper monitoring of health condition by doing daily rounds.
• Initiates prompt identification, medication and management of sick animals.
• Diagnoses disease or any abnormal conditions through physical and behavioural observation as basis for proper treatment.
• Prescribe proper treatment and medication to sick animals depending on the clinical signs shown by the animals.
• Accomplish routine, emergency and post-mortem examination (Necropsy) that can help for proper diagnosis.
• Collects samples such as blood, serum, tissue sample, water, feeds, intestinal contents for laboratory testing.
• Performs an epidemiological evaluation of disease outbreak, disease movement, and seasonality of disease to establish preventive measures.
• Monitors the mortality and morbidity rate of all departments being supervised and collects data of established facts.
• Oversees vaccination based on protocol.
