Veterinary Assistant - Emergency

**VCA Animal Specialty Group** , located in beautiful San Diego, is seeking experienced Veterinary Assistants to join our team of emergency & specialty technicians. Our state-of-the-art hospital offers the best critical care support equipment as well as diagnostic & imaging equipment to provide exceptional veterinary care!

**Location:** 5610 Kearny Mesa Rd B, San Diego, CA 92111

**Salary:** $18 - $25 per hour

**Schedule:** Wednesday - Saturday, Swing Shift

In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include:

+ Maintaining medical records
+ Filling prescriptions
+ Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
+ Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets
