Veterinary Assistant - Triage

**BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Veterinary Assistant.**

**Pay** : $20.30 - $30.10/Hr

+ Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
+ Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 Shift Differential
+ Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential

**Schedule** :

Day Shift: 7a - 6p

4 days on, 4 days off

  **As a Triage Veterinary Assistant** **, you will:**  

+ Intake and Triage of Incoming Patients

+ Report patient signalment, problem list, and plan during nursing rounds. 

+ Comfortable taking vitals, includingaccuratelycountingheart, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratoryrate,and effort. 
+ Client communication and education
+ Perform consistent rechecks, chart vital sign trends and client updates.
+ Constant communication with intaking doctor to ensure prompt and proper patient care
