Veterinary Technician - Emergency

**VCA Animal Specialty Group** is a busy 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in Los Angeles, approximately 10 minutes from Downtown LA!

**Location:** 4641 Colorado Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90039

**Schedule:** 40 hours, 2 pm-12:30 am, 4 days, 10-hour shift

**Salary:** $ 30 - $ 38 / hour

_* Compensation dependent on experience, schedule, and position_

We are looking for a highly experienced **Registered Veterinary Technician** , or those who qualify for the VTNE, with strong skills and knowledge in Specialty Surgery, ICU, ER, and Anesthesia for critical emergency surgery intake, stabilization, surgery, and recovery to post care.

**Requirements for positions on our teams:**

+ Proficient in emergency and anesthesia
+ Valid RVT license or be VTNE eligible

**Strong skills and knowledge of the following:**

+ IVC placement
+ Venipuncture and U/S guided cystos
+ Radiographs (spinal, thorax, abdomen...
