Description
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Emergency Medicine is currently recruiting for a faculty member at the Associate Professor level and above to serve as the Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Emergency Medicine. The successful applicant should have board certification in Emergency Medicine (if an MD or DO) with experience in translational and/or clinical research. In addition, they should have evidence of extramural funding. The Department has a highly-dedicated faculty, including junior, mid-career, and senior members with a diverse mix of clinical, research and educational interests. The Vice Chair serves as a leader in advancing the research mission of the Department, with particular focus on enhancing the pipeline of researchers and increasing extramural funding.
