Vice President, Finance Tax MY

• Manage and perform operational aspects of corporate and indirect tax for assigned CIMB entities within the group with the objectives to maximise tax savings opportunities and contribute to shareholder value while fulfilling regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and supervise team members’ works including but not limited to tax computation and provision, preparation for statutory reporting and filings, payment submission, etc.
• Prepare, review and manage tax related transactions such as tax estimates, double taxation, withholding tax, deferred tax computations, provision, reconciliation and tax balances.
• Review the corporate, service tax and other relevant returns/ filings.
• Advise businesses on corporate and indirect tax for their new business initiatives and strategies.
• Manage tax queries and audit by/from MOF and relevant statutory and regulatory bodies.
