Vice President, HNW Underwriting - HSBC Life

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, High-Net-Worth (HNW) Underwriting.

• Conduct medical, financial and compliance assessment in accordance with the company’s underwriting guidelines and risk framework, adhering to delegated authority limits and service level agreements.
• Manage the referral process to ensure optimal capacity for ultra large risks, including overseeing the total exposure with reinsurers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to collaboratively resolve complex underwriting queries related to risk selection.
• Support the training and development of junior underwriters, including contributing to internal quality assurance audits to maintain consistent underwriting standards.
