Job Description You will be responisble for the following: Lead the design of complex mechanical systems for underground mobile mining equipment using advanced software tools such as SolidWorks or Autodesk to create 3D layouts, drawings and schematics of parts, assemblies, and technical renderings Create and modify mechanical designs using CAD-based tools Identify and define testing criteria and validation methods based on industry standards Lead design reviews and provide input for continuous improvement efforts Guide and advise on regulatory compliance for intricate mechanical systems Select and provide guidance on appropriate components and materials for mechanical designs Optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, reports, a...
