Our volunteer chaplains provide spiritual and emotional wellbeing support to officers and police staff of all faiths, and none, whilst at work.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the role are:
Visit allocated police premises once a week at mutually agreed time Check in with your Contact Person on site Update yourself with what officers and police staff have been working on since you last visited (this may include attending briefings and other meetings) Greet all officers and police staff on the premises in a friendly manner, indicating you have time to listen if anyone wants to talk Listen to anyone who wants to talk, on any topic (this may take place in a private room, or as part of a ride-along, or alongside individuals while at work) Signpost to specialist support where appropriate (you will be briefed by your Line Manager so you are aware of...
