About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur within the Culinary Department, the Waiter/ress is responsible for greeting and serving guests, providing detailed information on menus, and multitasking various front‑of‑the‑house duties in a fast‑paced environment. The role reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure the hotel’s high standards.
• Make menu suggestions to guests.
• Attend all training sessions, briefings, and meetings as required.
• Continuously increase professional knowledge to achieve the goals and objectives of the hotel and department.
• Actively support the hotel’s team culture and help achieve the hotel’s Vision, Mission, goals, and values.
• Show a positive, energetic, and caring attitude toward guests and fellow colleagues.
