Ward Clerk – SDEC

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part‑time ward clerk to join the Same Day Emergency Care team at Harrogate Hospital for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
The successful candidate will work 2 days a week (covering a 7‑day service).
We are looking for someone who can cope well within a rapidly changing environment, who can multi‑task and handle the often challenging demands of a busy department.
Main duties of the job
- Liaise with patients and their family.
- Have an excellent telephone manner.
- Assist all members of the MDT to perform their roles to the best of their ability.
- Use the Nervecentre and PCS systems to admit patients so the wider team can record documentation.
