Warehouse Assistant

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including handling, checking, sorting, packing, labelling and maintaining cargo in a safe and efficient manner. The role ensures all goods are processed accurately and warehouse standards of safety and housekeeping are maintained.
. Receive, handle, load, unload incoming and outgoing cargo
. Conduct checks on cargo to ensure accuracy and condition of incoming and outgoing cargo
. Handle all goods withcare to prevent damage during movement and storage
. Report any cargo damages, discrepancies or shortages to Supervisor / Team Leader
. Sort cargo according to relevant SOP set by the Supervisor / Team Leader
. Pack cargo securely based on handling guidelines and SOP
. Ensure good housekeeping of the warehouse at all times
. Ensure work areas are free from hazard and obstructions
. Handle warehouse equipment/ tools in a proper and safe manner
